WELCOME TO THE DOLL HOUSE!

Dolls also have clubs, houses, homes just like we do! METAL AS ANYTHING  is about the dolls that get a second chance, dressed in the grandest of garments bringing fun, joy and fantasy.

Inspired by dolls that have been around too long, dolls that become part of a spring clean, with no one to care about them anymore. But on their side, along with God and sky is local Bondi artist GED who offers a whole new beginning and transforms them with
jewelery worn to enhance the body. Ornamental, but not just about vanity, also for the protection from bad elements and omens.

Heavy metals like copper, silver and gold embossed on sleek beautiful bodies bring joy, curiosity and wonder to all that see them.

Come take a look! Exhibiting in DISRUPT now, along with highly original hand made neck pieces also made by GED.

THE EVIL RABBIT STRIKES AGAIN!

Yulia Pustoshkina aka Evil Rabbit is a local artist originally from Russia who is making a steady impact on the Sydney art scene. Using primarily oils for her painting she has done a wide range of works which are available as originals or prints on canvas. Themes and characters are closely connected to her personal life and often incude the figure of a rabbit placed in various unusual predicaments. Her latest work includes a collection of earrings bearing folkloric influences. They are hand sewn using such materials as rich velvet, brocade, lace, satin, glass beads and crystals. All pieces are mixed, layered and hand embellished to create a unique and lavish decorative (sometimes vintage) look and each pair is a one off and therefore totally unique. Disrupt currently stocks many of her works so come by and see them up close.
